Hearing OTT/TOR are working on a Zaitsev deal. Might not happen for a couple of days, but it’s in the process.

Earlier today, Darren Dreger casually mentioned this:

Obviously the market could open on Zaitsev once the Leafs pay his July 1 $3 mil bonus. Hearing Ottawa (DJ Smith) among those with some interest, although Sens are on Zaitsev’s “no” list. Something to monitor.

And the interesting thing here is that Zaitsev, who has a modified no-trade clause, would have to waive it to go to Ottawa.
