The Toronto Maple Leafs have recalled Nick Robertson from the AHL.
The Toronto Maple Leafs will be in Detroit tonight for the second-to-last game of the 2021-22 NHL Regular Season, and Nick Robertson will be in the lineup.
According to Mark Master’s practice lines, Robertson will skate with John Tavares and Ilya Mikheyev tonight.
The move is likely due to the fact that Michael Bunting remains out of the lineup, however, Robertson is a quality player who adds to the Leafs depth and could be a weapon in the playoffs.
At the very least, Robertson’s elite shot makes him a weapon on the second power-play, not to mention that he’s been red-hot of late.
