It’s been a few years since a Domi scored in an NHL game at Air Canada Centre.
But with Leafs alumnus Tie Domi watching in the stands, his son Max continued his excellent start to his rookie season, potting the first goal of the game en route to leading the Arizona Coyotes to 4-3 win.
“It was a big game for everyone,” Domi said. “We had some big goals from throughout the lineup. It was fun to see, and definitely fun to be a part of. It was really exciting.”
Max Domi registered his fourth tally of the year, already placing him within 100 regular season goals of Tie, who of course forged his career more with his fists than with his stick.
