Following a frustrating overtime loss in Game Three, the Toronto Marlies won the fourth game of the North Division Final against the Albany Devils in convincing fashion. Nikita Soshnikov led the way with a pair of goals in a Marlies 7-2 triumph on Tuesday night in upstate New York.
The Marlies went 4-for-9 on the power play in the rout. Mark Arcobello, Kasperi Kapanen, TJ Brennan and Brendan Leipsic each scored with the man advantage. Connor Brown rounded out the scoring for Toronto.
Antoine Bibeau made 24 saves in net for the victory.
The series continues in Albany on Thursday.
