Mason Marchment, son of the oft suspended NHL player Bryan Marchment, is most famous around here for this hit on Mitch Marner in the 2015 OHL playoffs.
Since that fateful day, the undrafted 21-year-old left wing has moved on to the Hamilton Bulldogs and then to the Mississauga Steelheads where he played with Alexander Nylander, and of course, would have been seen by Steelheads assistant coach, Michael Nylander.
Marchment, listed at 6'4" and 200 lbs scored 5 points in 7 playoff games for the just eliminated Steelheads, and racked 52 penalty minutes for his two teams this year, considerably more than last year.
