The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Friday that the club has recalled forward Byron Froese from the Toronto Marlies (AHL).
Froese, 24, has scored three goals in four games with the Marlies this season. In 2014-15, the Winkler, Manitoba native collected 42 points (18 goals, 24 assists) in 46 regular season games with the Marlies. Originally selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the fourth round (119th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, Froese has recorded 62 points (25 goals, 37 assists) in 147 career AHL games with Rockford, San Antonio and Toronto.
