Playoffs have begun! This past week we saw the Allsvenskan playoffs start. Mora IK (Engvall) sits first in the round robin standings right now. If they win this they'll move on for a chance to to be promoted to the SHL next season.
Maine (Vesey) started the Hockey East playoffs versus Northeastern and played two close games, but lost both in overtime to be knocked out of the first round, losing the best of three series 2-0, ending his season. It's been a disappointing one for Vesey and the Maine program in general. Coming off a 23 point freshman season, he managed just 11 points this year.
