Maple Leafs place Andreas Johnsson on LTIR, call up three players

The Maple Leafs have placed the injured Andreas Johnsson on LTIR and called up three players.

The @MapleLeafs have recalled forwards Nic Petan and Pontus Aberg and defenceman Martin Marincin from the @TorontoMarlies (AHL).

Forward Andreas Johnsson will be placed on long-term injury reserve.

Andreas Johnsson left the Leafs last game against the Colorado Avalanche with some kind of injury. After the game, and before much meaningful medical evaluation, coach Sheldon Keefe said Johnsson was ‘sore’

Sheldon Keefe said Andreas Johnsson was too sore to return for third period tonight.
