The Maple Leafs have signed forward PA Parenteau to a one-year $1.5 million contract. Parenteau had 22 points in 56 games with the Montreal Canadiens in 2014-15. He comes to Toronto after being bought out by the Habs on Monday.
The Leafs have re-signed defenceman Richard Panik to a one-year, $975,000 contract. Panik,24, had 17 points in 76 games with Toronto last season.
