The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Friday that the club has signed forwards Kasperi Kapanen and Andreas Johnsson to contract extensions.
Kapanen has signed a three-year extension that carries an average annual value of $3.2 million. He skated in 78 games for the Maple Leafs in 2018-19 and recorded a career-high 44 points (20 goals, 24 assists).
Johnsson has signed a four-year extension that carries an average annual value of $3.4 million. Johnsson played in 73 games for the Maple Leafs in 2018-19 and recorded a career-high 43 points (20 goals, 23 assists).
