The Leafs announced Tuesday that they have signed defencemen Petter Granberg and Tim Erixon to one-year contracts. The Maple Leafs also announced today that the club has come to terms with forward Zach Hyman on a two-year entry level contract.
Granberg, 22, was held pointless in seven regular season games with the Maple Leafs this past season. The Gallivare, Sweden native also registered 15 points (one goal, 14 assists) in 53 regular season games with the Toronto Marlies during 2014-15. Granberg, a fourth round selection (116th overall) by the Maple Leafs in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, has skated in eight career NHL games, all with Toronto.
