The Maple Leafs signed goaltender Jhonas Enroth to a one-year, $750,000 contract on Monday. The 28-year-old native of Stockholm, Sweden appeared in 16 regular season games with the Los Angeles Kings in 2015-16, posting a record of 7-5-1 with a .922 save percentage and a 2.17 goals against average.
Originally a 2006 draft pick of the Buffalo Sabres, Enroth has a career record of 50-66-15 in 147 NHL regular season appearances.
Earlier in the day the Leafs named Mark Hunter as Assistant General Manager. Hunter, who first joined the Leafs as Director of Player Personnel in October 2014, will share the role along with current Assistant General Manager Kyle Dubas.
