Leafs rally to beat Bruins in OT

PA Parenteau scored a power play goal 3:06 into overtime to give the Maple Leafs a 4-3 win over the Boston Bruins on Tuesday. On the play, Parenteau collected a rebound after Jake Gardiner’s initial shot was saved by Tuukka Rask.

The victory erased a 3-1, third period deficit. Leo Komarov and Nazem Kadri each scored goals on a deflection to force overtime and clinch at least one point in the standings for Toronto. Earlier in the game, Daniel Winnik also scored for the Leafs on a tip-in.

“It felt pretty good. We had some chances in the last few games in the power play, we couldn’t find a way put it in the net but there was no better moment to score a goal than that,” Parenteau said to reporters after the game.
