The deadline to extend qualifying offers to restricted free agents came and went at 5 PM ET yesterday. While several teams have announced to whom they have and have not extended offers, the Leafs remain silent on the details.
In advance of July 1, teams are required to present offers to RFAs. If a player receives an offer, they can either accept it, or decline and remain an RFA. Players who are not tendered qualifying offers have until July 1 to re-sign a new contract with the team, or they will become a UFA and free to sign anywhere.
