Leafs Complete Trade With San Jose

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the team has acquired goaltender Alex Stalock, forward Ben Smith and a conditional 4th-round selection in the 2018 Entry Draft from the San Jose Sharks in exchange for goaltender James Reimer and forward Jeremy Morin.

Stalock, 28, has split his season between the Sharks and their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the San Jose Barracuda. In 13 games with the Sharks, he has a 3-5-2 record and 2.94 goals-against-average (GAA). Meanwhile, the St. Paul, Minnesota native has a 2-0-0 record and a 1.96 GAA in two games with the Barracuda this season.
