The Orlando Solar Bears and The Brampton Beast, ECHL affiliates of the Maple Leafs and Canadiens, will face off for the first time ever this weekend. To mark the occasion, we made a friendly wager with our blog rivals at Eyes on The Prize.

The Solar Bears are on a hot streak heading into this weekend, winning two of three games against The Manchester Monarchs, one of the best teams in the ECHL. The Beast, on the other hand, have one of the worst records in the ECHL.
