Shore, Moore, Kerfoot and Muzzin had singles, while Timashov had two assists and Freddie Andersen made 25 saves for Toronto. Marner, Matthews and Nylander were not only kept off the scoresheet, all three ended up with a -1 on the night.
Toronto’s next action is Tuesday evening, when they host Minnesota.
