Your game in ten:
1) A 26-save shutout with four goals of run support isn’t the kind of game where one would announce the goalie stole the win – and Frederik Andersen didn’t – but it should be recognized that the Flames had several good looks early in the game and could’ve built themselves a multi-goal lead if not for Andersen. The Flames had just eight shots on goal in the first period, but Natural Stat Trick credited four of them as ‘high-danger scoring chances’ (compared to the Leafs’ two in the first) at even strength.
