We’re half way through the pre-season now, and Maple Leafs coach Mike Babcock has had a fair chance to see the talent he has at his disposal for this coming season. He noted that starting with today’s game he would split up the rosters into what will look much more like a Marlies team and a Maple Leafs team.
It looks like tonight against the Habs we get to see a roster of players who will become the Marlies group noting that nothing is final, and there’s still some movement between the two groups (partly to satisfy rules about Exhibition games; Kasperi Kapanen qualifies for the rule) meaning on Wednesday we should see what will mostly be the Maple Leafs starting line-up.
