It’s a hot and sunny Friday in the summer. The perfect day for hockey! The World Junior Summer Showcase starts today and two new Maple Leafs prospects are in the tournament: Nicholas Robertson and Miko Kokkonen. Robertson will be playing today in a USA White vs. USA Blue game, and he’ll be on the White roster.
Meanwhile, Kyle Dubas continues to surprise us with trades out of the blue this week. Yesterday, Andreas Borgman was reassigned to a different Unimatrix yesterday and in return the Leafs received Jordan Schmaltz.
