The Dallas Stars won Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final 4-1 over the Tampa Bay Lightning. Anton Khudobin stopped 35 of 36 in the win, while Andrei Vasilevskiy only stopped 16 of 19 in the loss. The Stars were led offensively by some very unusual goal-scorers. Joel Hanley, Jamie Oleksiak (Penny’s brother), Joel Kiviranta, and Jason Dickinson scored the four goals for the team, while Yanni Gourde got the lone tally for Tampa Bay.
Dallas played their style of hockey for the first 40 minutes.
