Buffalo loves hockey. It has an NHL team, a Junior A team, and a Junior B team, and lots of teams below those levels. Now, the NHL team isn’t that great, but they try. Lucky for them there’s the Junior B Buffalo Regals in town to keep the Sabres from being the hockey laughing stock (except when the billionaire owners charge admission for development camp games).
The Regals have not been good this year, routinely losing games by margins of 20 goals or more. The Regals play in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League, a Junior B circuit and are in the division with the teams from Niagara/Hamilton.
