The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Friday the definitive list of the one hundred greatest players in team history.
Dave Keon, who had his statue on Legends Row unveiled the previous day, was chosen as the greatest player of the past 100 years. The selection committee was comprised of a 30-person panel, plus the collective results of a Leafs Fan Vote.
Keon won four Stanley Cups with the Leafs in the 1960’s, and was named the winner of the Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoff MVP in 1967. He retired from hockey as the franchise’s all-time leading scorer with 858 points (365 goals, 493 assists) in 1,062 regular season games.
