Both the Furies and the Thunder will open the season at their respective home rinks on October 15th.
The CWHL released the 2016-17 regular season schedule today, along with a new logo to celebrate their 10th season (I'm sure elseldo will check the math). Beyond the logo, the league announced that each team will hold a Heritage Game, "honouring team alumni and those who have contributed to the growth of their team and the league over the past 10 years".
According to the league's press release, series of special features will also be hosted on CWHL.
