Lost in the days free agency, mocking the Subban and Hall trades, pretending not to care about Stamkos and the fact that I sometimes forget the Carolina Hurricanes exist, a piece of news slipped by on July 1st.
Former Maple Leafs goaltender Curtis Joseph joined the Carolina Hurricanes as a goaltending consultant this summer, and has already taken to the ice with the Hurricanes kids at their prospects camp in early July.
"[After retirement] He focused on being a father; he and his wife have three sons who play hockey, and a daughter.
"I've been busy making sure that my kids were raised properly," Joseph said.
