The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Saturday that forward Connor Brown has signed a three-year extension with the team. The average annual value of the contract is $2.1 million per season.
Brown, 23, collected 20 goals and 36 points in 82 regular season games in 2016-17. He added one assist in six playoff games during Toronto’s first round series versus Washington.
Brown was selected by the Maple Leafs in the sixth round (156th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft.
