Brad Treliving on Auston Matthews’ participation in the Four Nations tournament: “Nothing at this point makes me worry about that, but we are still a month away or so”

Treliving: We just passed the halfway mark when we were on the road, so I just thought I’d answer any questions [the media] has.

As a general statement on the first half, there have been a lot of good things. Probably the overriding theme in the first half is that we’ve had a lot of injuries, right? We’ve had a lot of people out of the lineup.

I am proud of how the group has responded. They have been able to bank points in different ways. I am happy with a couple of things we talked about at the beginning of the year.
