Did you really think Price was coming back. I sure didn't.
Price embodied the frenetic — and successful — approach of former Blue Jays general manager Alex Anthopoulos during the 2015 season. Price was acquired in July to help bring postseason baseball to Toronto for the first time in 22 years. And he did.
But now Anthopoulos is gone, his trade deadline all-nighters replaced by Mark Shapiro’s methodical business plan.
