Air Canada Centre, the home to the Maple Leafs and NBA’s Toronto Raptors, will become Scotiabank Arena as of July 1, 2018.
As reported by SportsNet.ca, a 20-year agreement between the bank and Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment takes effect next Canada Day.
TSN reports that the deal is worth $800-million Canadian.
The ACC opened its doors to NHL hockey on February 20, 1999. The Leafs defeated the Montreal Canadiens 3-2 in overtime.
