After just two seasons in the Canadian Premier League, York9 FC have already rebranded.
Now known as “York United FC”, the club revealed their new look on Friday during a virtual launch on YouTube.
The club replaced the predominantly green and white colour scheme in favour of one that's green and blue.
The logo, above, features their famous nine stripes for the nine municipalities of York Region — the reason they were previously called York9 — under the letters YU, for York United.
It is in the shape of a shield, honouring the Queen’s York Rangers.
