TORONTO, Canada—History was made Tuesday night as the Canadian men’s national team are through to the final round of World Cup Qualifying for the first time in 25 years.
So what’s next for Canada?
“We know that we have work to do, by no means are we done here,” said Toronto FC midfielder Jonathan Osorio. “Our objective is to qualify for the World Cup, not the octagon.”
Canada will be one of eight teams competing in the final stage of CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying alongside the United States, Mexico, Honduras, Jamaica, Costa Rica, El Salvador, and Panama.
