TORONTO, Canada—The 2020 end-of-season Major League Soccer awards keep rolling in and a trio of Reds once again find themselves in contention for two major categories.
Up first, Toronto FC first-choice goalkeeper Quentin Westberg has been nominated for the Save of the Season after a terrific double-save in a 2-1 win over the Philadelphia Union on Oct 3. We’re not sure what’s better: the first save of the second?
Defender Richie Laryea’s solo effort against the Columbus Crew SC in a 3-1 win has also been nominated for MLS Goal of the Year.
