It was during the off-season when Toronto FC coach Greg Vanney mentioned Victor Vazquez to Michael Bradley, suggesting the 30-year-old Spaniard could be the creative midfield piece the club was after. Bradley didn’t know much about Vazquez, a product of FC Barcelona’s academy system, so he Googled him.
“I love football, I love to watch football and I’m always curious so I went on the computer and found some games and watched,” the TFC captain said this week. “Right away, what you can see is that he knows football. He’s smart, he’s easy to play with, he makes others around him better.
