TSN has broadcast the majority of Canada's fourth round games during CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers.
Canada Soccer announced today that it has extended its TV partnership with TSN. The deal includes upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers, friendlies for the women's national team and broadcast of the Voyageurs Cup. The length of the deal's extension was not announced.
The deal marks the first time that TSN will broadcast the Canadian Championship, as previous years of the tournament have been shown on Sportsnet. The five-team tournament includes Canada's three MLS teams, the Montreal Impact, Toronto FC and Vancouver Whitecaps as well as the NASL's Ottawa Fury and FC Edmonton.
