Toronto FC’s Michael Bradley returns to midfield after temporary centre back role

Michael Bradley will be back in his familiar defensive midfield role when Toronto FC hosts the Vancouver Whitecaps on Saturday.

Injuries in the backline, particularly to veteran centre back Drew Moor, have prompted coach Greg Vanney to use Bradley in the back three at times this season. Vanney, happy with the play of Chris Mavinga and Gregory van der Wiel at centre back, says it was always only a temporary measure.
