On Sunday night, Toronto FC are back at home for their 2019 home opener. After a good result in Philadelphia to start the season, a 3-1 victory more than two weeks ago, TFC will be looking to start the season 2-0-0 as they welcome the New England Revolution to town.
Always a tough away game (TFC haven’t won in New England since 2013), the Reds have a lot more success at home against the Revolution, including 4-1 wins in 2016 and 2018 and a 2-0 win in 2017.
Through their first two games of 2019, the Revolution have picked up a single point, having drawn with FC Dallas in their season opener before falling to the Columbus Crew in their second game.
