Today, Toronto FC selected veteran forward Juan Agudelo in stage two of the MLS Re-Entry Draft, which took place earlier this afternoon.
Agudelo, 27, appeared in 31 games for New England Revolution across all competitions last season, scoring four times and adding one assist. However, last season was far from the Colombian’s best.
In 2013-14, the promising attacker joined Stoke City on a free transfer where he was then loaned to Eredivise side FC Utrecht, appearing in 14 matches providing three goals and three assists. He rejoined the Revolution in 2015 where the forward recorded three-straight seven-goal MLS campaigns, adding eight assists over that span.
