Toronto FC are one of three MLS clubs to have made an offer to U.S. youth international goalkeeper Justin vom Steeg, according to Dusseldorf newspaper the Rheinische Post.
Vom Steeg signed a one-year deal with Fortuna Dusseldorf last summer that is yet to be extended by the 2. Bundesliga club. According to the Post, the 20-year-old hopes to stay in Germany and has interest from the likes of Kaiserslautern.
That has not, however, stopped MLS teams from making their own pitches. The report claims that Vom Steeg has already spent time training with TFC and has now been offered the Reds’ No.
