Toronto FC II added a pair of Trinidad & Tobago youngsters to their roster on Monday, signing forward Aikim Andrews (pictured above) and defender Jelani Peters to USL contracts.
Andrews spent the entire preseason on trial with TFC and did enough to earn a deal, with Peters also appearing to have trained with the club before signing on.
“Both players have been scouted for some time now and have also been on trial with TFC and TFC II during training camp,” TFC II coach Jason Bent said. “With the additions of Aikim and Jelani they will add greater depth and competition for places in the squad.
