As Toronto FC prepares to host a key CONCACAF Champions League match in frigid temperatures Tuesday night, a few brave fans say they’re ready for soccer in -16 C wind chill.
“The weather doesn’t matter to me,” said Duncan Green, who said he’s come in from Brantford for every Toronto home game since 2007. “It’s TFC, and they’re back home,” he said.
Green said he’s brought his red TFC stadium coat, a 2017 MLS Cup hoodie, winter boots and TFC gloves for the game — and a ski mask, “just in case.
