It’s been far from a slow news day for the Canadian Soccer Association. In the wake of all the clamour surrounding John Herdman’s switch to the men’s national team, the federation announced the 22-man squad invited to this month’s U-23 camp.
Six players under the Toronto FC umbrella will take part in the 10-day camp in Orlando, Florida. From TFC II are defender Julian Dunn-Johnson, midfielders Aidan Daniels and Liam Fraser, and forwards Shaan Hundal and Luca Uccello. Representing the TFC III academy side is fullback Terique Mohammed.
All six TFC prospects are from the GTA, as are five other players on the squad.
