Pacific FC became the first Canadian Premier League team to reach the halfway point of the 2021 campaign when they lost to Cavalry on Friday.
It has been a unique season, and I truly hate using that word, with the first eight games taking place in The Kickoff bubble in Winnipeg. The hosts Valour FC benefitted mightily from familiar confines, but have struggled of late. The usual suspects of Cavalry and Forge are high up in the table as per the norm, while Pacific are currently holding down the top spot, albeit having played more than anybody else.
