According to a report by Kristian Dyer of MLS Multiplex, Toronto FC are among five Major League Soccer clubs in pursuit of LASK midfielder Husein Balic.
Widely regarded for his pace, the 25-year-old speedster can be played on either wing or in the middle, often used on the left for LASK in the Austrian Bundesliga.
With reigning MLS MVP Alejandro Pozuelo best used centrally, it's fair to assume that Toronto FC would use him on one of the wings should they sign him.
In 29 appearances in all competitions since signing for LASK, Balic has nine goals and three assists, and made his debut with the Austrian national team in November.
