After a tough outing in Portland, Toronto FC fans are waking up to some better news this morning. According to a report from Neil Davidson of the Canadian Press, Jonathan Osorio will sign a new long-term contract to stay at BMO Field for the foreseeable future.
Osorio's future was a little up in the air, with clubs from all over the world reportedly showing interest in the Canadian midfielder in the midst of a career year. He’s scored 16 goals across all competitions this year, winning the Golden Boot in the CONCACAF Champions League and the George Gross Memorial Trophy as Canadian Championship MVP.
