As part of their 100th season in the National Hockey League, the Toronto Maple Leafs are reportedly going to be hosting a Winter Classic game against the New York Rangers.
As if there weren't enough already, another unsuccessful team looks to be calling BMO Field home in 2017, at least for one game. As part of their centennial season, the Toronto Maple Leafs have requested to be the hosts of the 2017 NHL Winter Classic.
Toronto Sports writer Howard Berger is reporting that the game, which not confirmed, would be played between the home town Maple Leafs and visiting New York Rangers at BMO Field.
