Soccer in Canada is growing faster than ever. And, with the inclusion of teams from the Canadian Premier League, League1 Ontario and and Première Ligue de soccer du Québec, this year, more cities had the opportunity to lift the Voyageurs Cup — Canada’s domestic trophy — than ever.
2021 saw new participants from A.S. Blainville from the PLSQ and Master’s Soccer Academy from League1 Ontario enter into the mix, as did seven teams from the CanPL with MLS staples — Toronto FC, Vancouver Whitecaps, and CF Montreal — rounding out the participants competing for a chance to lift the 2021 Canadian Championship.
