The Alejandro Pozuelo era started with a bang on Friday night as Toronto FC defeated New York City FC by a score of ______. In his debut as the club’s newest DP, Pozuelo was worth the price of admission as he played Jozy Altidore in for a splendid assist and added two goals of his own.
The Reds dominated almost the entire match, with New York’s chances all coming against the run of play as a result of poor passing or miscommunication out of the back. TFC’s buildup play from midfield onward was clinical for most of the night, though.
