Toronto FC scored early in their Voyageurs Cup tie with Ottawa Fury, and from there it was pretty much lights out. It was a fairly uneventful match after the first five minutes, and the Reds will sail back home to BMO Field with a win and an away goal in their back pocket.
The path ahead to the Canadian Championship final is now clear for TFC; all they need to do is draw or win next week to advance.
