Well, Toronto FC won’t be climbing out of last place in MLS anytime in the immediate future. A brutal start to both halves handed Houston Dynamo a pretty pedestrian 5-1 win over the Franken-Reds at BBVA Compass Stadium.
TFC gave up two goals in the first seven minutes of the match, and another in the first minute of the second half. The Reds had a few chances of their own, Mitchell Taintor scoring a goal and Jordan Hamilton having one called back for offside.
As the second half wore on, Houston added another two goals from a couple more huge lapses from Toronto’s defence.
