Last weekend’s Toronto FC game was probably one that fans will hope to forget soon. The Reds blew a 3-0 lead at Mapfre Stadium to draw 3-3 with Columbus Crew SC. As a result, the voting has not been kind to a handful of TFC players, particularly Michael Bradley. I think Bradley’s overwhelmingly negative rating is pretty harsh; yes, he made mistakes on at least two of Columbus’s goals, but I also thought he put in a lot of good defensive work in the first two thirds of the match.
The ire Bradley drew from fans after the match was a little excessive; let’s not forget how crucial the captain is to this team when he’s anchoring the midfield.
